Pre-Conference Workshop

In partnership with ANFF, we are pleased to announce our expert workshop being held on the 22 September 2019 at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.

WORKSHOP OVERVIEW:
ANFF Short Course on Nanofabrication Technologies
The ANFF Short Course on Nanofabrication Technologies will provide a technical and research introduction to the range of nanofabrication capabilities available through the ANFF network. Learn about the types of equipment ANFF has, what you can do with these tools, and the range of materials, devices, or structures that you can make.

This journey into nanofabrication will be facilitated by a team of expert process engineers and facility managers drawn from the ANFF network.

These sessions will cover the making of new materials, novel uses of these materials (including bioprinting), in addition to technical talks explaining materials-focused nanofabrication techniques such as lithography, thin film deposition, etching, and characterisation.

FACILITATORS:
Peter Innis, University Of Wollongong
Matt Boreland, University of New South Wales
Kinnari Shelat, University of Queensland
Mariusz Martyniuk, University of Western Australia
Fouad Karouta, Australian National University
